Welcome to Everyday Counseling, I am so glad you are here! Helping couples and individuals make their daily life joy filled is my passion.
As a mother of 5, I know how fast disconnection happens. Let me help you re-connect with your life, your spouse, and your family. I believe therapy should be a short term tool to help you regain joy one step at a time!
In 2006 I earned a Masters' degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in Marriage and Family Therapy from Benedictine University. I am a Registered Intern (R4712) in the state of Oregon and I am supervised by Paul Myers, PhD. Clients appreciate my Rogerian and Attachment Theory perspective, which means I put relationship first. To help build a safe base for clients I use Emotion-Focused Therapy, Gottman Marital Strategies, Brief Strategic Counseling, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I am a tool clients can use in identifying their goals and finding their way back to joy.
